About the Role
Saluki Motorsport are looking to recruit an experienced Land Rover / Range Rover Diagnostic Technician to join our busy independent facility located in Dubai. As a Diagnostic Technician / Quality Controller, you will play an important role within our Service Team by consistently providing first class diagnostics and repairs, taking the very best care of our customers’ vehicles from start to finish.
Your role will accurately and skillfully identify problems with vehicles using the available diagnostic equipment & special service tools. You will also perform maintenance and repair on customer vehicles always adhering to the Fix it Right First-Time process, thereby eliminating repeat repairs.
You will also coach, mentor and provide diagnostic and technical assistance to the other technicians to speed fault diagnosis and accurately specify repair solutions.
The role will report to the Service Manager and you will be working in a busy workshop environment wherein you will be dealing directly with Service Advisor, Parts Supervisor, Technicians and Customers on a daily basis.
Requirements
Required skills to be successful:
• Diploma Technical certification, ITI (Industrial Training Institute NCVT Certificate) or ITC.
• 3 to 5 years’ experience as a Diagnostic Technician from a European vehicle background carrying out diagnosis and general mechanic repairs.
• Ability to use diagnostic equipment & special service tools to inspect engine, transmission, brake, suspension, A/C electrical and hybrid system of the vehicles.
• Fluency in English.
• Valid UAE driving license.
